Pushing through Procrastination
Ok guys I know we all have dreams, goals, and/or aspirations that we are all trying to achieve or accomplish. What holds you back?
For me I know with confidence that it is my procrastination that holds me back from so many goals (including organization).
What can break you from that procrastination stronghold??
The answer to that my friends is quite simple......ACTION!!
What isn't so simple is the act of action on a procrastinated spirit. (Hope that makes sense.) I am a procrastinator in rehab.....I'm working on myself and that is one of the worst habits I have.

What isn't so simple is the act of action on a procrastinated spirit. (Hope that makes sense.) I am a procrastinator in rehab.....I'm working on myself and that is one of the worst habits I have.
Some of the tricks I use to break that mindset is to focus on the reward of completing a task. For example I get super lazy when I come home from work and cleaning my house is the last thing that I want to do, but I know it must be done. To keep myself from procrastinating I envision my home clean and organized, this motivates me to get the job done. I also procrastinate with this blog, the proof is in the fact that I'm posting this a day late and writing it the day I am posting it!!
Now I know that having organization and taking action will make blogging, or any other task, easier and more enjoyable but I have that pesky spirit of procrastination. So to fight it another trick I use is envisioning you guys and all the people that I can possibly help by sharing what I'm knowledgeable in. I love helping others so this is a reward for me. Envisioning any reward helps me take action, so picturing my body transformation makes me want to workout!
Another form of motivation for me is knowing that I am killing my haters every time I score!! I actually fuel my fire with their negativity, knowing that they are watching me secretly wishing for me to fail....but I keep winning!!! It motivates me when I know that they can't stop me!! That may sound a bit childish but I don't care it works! It makes me push harder at the gym, it makes me want to make smarter food choices, it helps me push through any procrastinational thought I have (and yes I think I just made up that word??).
I am my biggest problem and honestly speaking I am in no way an expert on problem solving, but what I do know is that procrastination holds me back and I have too much to prove to let me stop me!!!
