Progress Report!!
Okay guys so it appears that it is time for a progress report on how my health and fitness journey is going so far. I am pleased to report that I've noticed a change in my body shape I do not weigh myself because I don't want to get hung up on a number but from here on out I will start measuring myself. I see changes and I would like to document them in a more accurate and organized fashion. The changes I'm seeing in my body are really getting me fired up and motivated to keep pushing forward. I am so curious to see just how much of a transformation my body can actually make. I'm nowhere near where I want to be but I know that I'm on the right path to getting there. I would rather focus on my small celebrations, such as inches lost, then on negative thoughts or self talk.
Aside from watching what I eat and exercising as much as I can and let's be honest it's not as often as I want it to be I also am using a couple of different regimen.
1. Weighted Vest: I use a 20 lb weighted vest. I'm at 12 pounds for now but I'm gradually adding more and more weight to the vest, one pound at a time. I have found that I burn more fat & sweat faster when I'm on the treadmill, and when it comes to ground work such as push ups or squats that added weight helps to build more strength and tone the muscle.
2. Dietary Supplements: I prefer to use products from It Works! because I feel they work for me. I take Ultimate Thermofit just prior to my workouts to help me burn more calories. I also use Advanced Formula Fatfighter to help combat bad food cravings and block some of the fat and carbs as they have carb inhibitors. I also like to use Ultimate Profit as a post-workout protein shake for faster recovery.

3. Infused Water/Greens Smoothies: I started out drinking a gallon of water a day but plain water gets old fast so I started using infused water recipes. I can post some of those in another blog post. I also started adding more Greens smoothies recipes, I used to use them a lot and kind of stopped using them. I recently started using them again and I love the way they make me feel!! There are a some options with It Works! Greens, however, I use the original Greens in Orange flavor because I have been using them for nearly 3 years now and love them.

I know when it comes to dietary supplements there are several choices out there and you feel free to make your own choice I'm only sharing with you what is work for me and what I used during my journey. And as usual if you guys have any questions or comments please feel free to leave them below and I'll get back to you as soon as I can!
Thank you all for your support and I hope this information helps someone out there!! Stay tuned for more progress reports and some of those recipes too!!

I have been seriously thinking about using a weighted vest. I think I am going to pick one up this week.
ReplyDeleteI love it!! I feel like it pushes my body to work harder!!
DeleteYou should check out Keira Lashae videos on YouTube. She has tons of workouts for free that really work. I'm not affiliated with her but I see a great difference in my body since doing her workouts.
ReplyDeleteThanks I'll check her out
DeleteI don't weigh myself either, being physically fit and healthy isn't about a number. Great job on the progress!
ReplyDeleteThanks and that number is what people get so hung up on....I worry about how I feel and how my clothes fit!!
DeleteI might pick up a weighted vest. I try to jog daily and this would help me to burn more fat. Which I need, because I eat a lot of fat, I won't lie. I love my chocolate.
ReplyDeleteOMG me too!! I'm a chocolate fanatic...my next post will show how my friends and I hung out in the city and we went to Girahdelli's yummmmm
DeleteYou are doing great! Keep up the good work! I don't weigh myself either because I always get discouraged if I don't see a dramatic change.
ReplyDeleteThank you!! Yes people tend to feel discouraged when that number doesn't go down right away but they tend to forget that muscle weighs more than fat, but fat takes up a larger amount of space.
DeleteWow that is so awesome! Congrats on your weight loss. I wish you the best on your journey!
ReplyDeleteThank you!!

ReplyDeleteYou seem to be doing great in reaching your goal. I'm wondering though if there are side effects for the fat fighter.

Keep tracking these milestones. I am sure you'll reach your goals soon. All the best!
ReplyDeleteI had never heard of a weighted vest for exercise before this. First I have to start exercising though. LOL And I forgot how much I love making my own shakes until I read this. I so need to get back into eating healthy. I makes me feel better and I'll drop the 10 pounds I gained this past year if I would just do it! Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteThat is so awesome. Slowly but surely you will get there. This inspires me to workout and maybe do some exercise now.
ReplyDeleteI really admire you for being open about your journey and also not getting hung up on a number! It's all about how you feel! I just started my journey recently and am finally starting to keep up my energy which is huge!
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good job. It takes dedication to stay on a weightloss program and work hard for your goals so, I give you extra props.
