Spiritual Meditation Positive Affirmations and Lifestyle Transformation

Hello World!!

 Just wanted to share with you a little bit of what I'm doing to help me not only learn and grow but also find peace within. Let's face it during a divorce it's only natural to become depressed and depression turns me into a totally different person, as it does to anyone!  I become my polar opposite, I'm reclusive and distracted easier than usual.  I would be a shut in if I didn't have kids to support.

At work I make sure to put on my million dollar smile and shiny personality but that's just a song & dance I play for the benefit of others.  Internally, I'm a mess!!  When the pain becomes unbearable I release by sharing feelings with a select few or write in a journal.  Well I'm done feeling sorry for myself, I'm done putting on the 'show'....now when I smile its real!!  It took so much emotional strength to get me out of that reclusive state, and these are three things that helped...

Spiritual Meditation


Prior to this mess I prayed twice a day and rambled on all day in my head to God, that is until I checked out!!  I realized that while living as a recluse I began to miss church more and more, I even stopped praying!! Not on purpose but I just stopped reaching out to anyone or anything, not because I no longer believed or lost faith in God, but because I lost myself.  This was my first mistake!!  During difficult times you must press on and lean on God because through Him we can accomplish anything! At least that is my belief and I realize not everyone has the same beliefs and that's fine, free will and all...

Whatever your beliefs, a higher power, inner being, some sort of energy, or the universe itself....you have to get in touch with that which brings you peace and reach for it!!  This is a subject that I will touch on frequently because it is the foundation of my healing.  The love of God fills my soul and keeps me spiritually appeased!!

Positive Affirmations


Daily affirmations are a great way to retrain the brain.  The same way negative words or insults can cause a person to believe negatively about themselves, positive affirmations can cause a person to believe as such.  I try to say out loud how much I am loved, how happy I am with my life and how much I've accomplished for my family and I.  I've found some affirmations on YouTube that I listen to as I sleep at night.  These are statements that can rewire you brain to do literally anything!!  I use this method to help me reaffirm my self love, organization, confidence and motivation.  I can get more into detail about this in another post.

Lifestyle Transformation

Between my spiritual alignment and boost in confidence and assertiveness I had already begun a transformation.  About a year ago I became an It Works Distributor and jumped in head first into a business that I knew nothing about!!  I put my faith in God and in myself to own my own health and wellness business and I began learning and taking the supplements that I sell.  After I started to make money I joined a gym and really began to take my health and nutrition more seriously.  You know you're serious when you start spending money!!  Going to the gym helps to maintain structure in my life by keeping my mind focused and addressing any body issues I have on a given day.  I will post more info on diet and exercise tips as well as any supplements that I'm using throughout the course of this blog.


These methods have helped me tremendously and I am passing on the things I'm learning to all of you!!
