How I became the kind of mother I am today
Mothering is not something that comes naturally to every woman, and believe me when I say it isn’t easy. Not at all! I owe my nurturing skills to my own mom. This woman took care of my brother and I when my father left us. It was just us three, mom, my big brother, and I for a long time. She worked a full time job to support us and still had time to spend with us teaching us values. To this day my mom, my brother, and I are still so close. My mom and I speak on a daily basis even if it’s just to say “Hi, what are you up to?” She taught me to be attentive to my family, kind, honest, and loving. I owe everything I am to my mother, and I want her to know that I love her and thank her for all that she has done.
