Action requires Energy

Hello World!!

So if you've been following my entries you'll note that the main theme is changing your lifestyle.  A lifestyle change requires plenty of action, and the best way to take action is with a clear mind and an energized body.  Today's topic is how to acquire energy in a  healthy and more natural way.  For many people caffeine is the #1 source for an energy boost, but caffeine has its downfalls, it's highly addictive and when taken in large quantities it can have a negative affect on the body such as high blood pressure.  Proteins, fibers and complex carbohydrates are a much healthier approach to energy.  These can be found in foods like Almonds, Oatmeal, Peanut Butter, Salmon, Kale, and Bananas.

Another important factor to energy is rest and sleep, our bodies do not function properly when we are not getting adequate sleep.  Our bodies need to recharge and refresh through out the night.  If we continuously lack sleep it can lead to heart disease and heart failure among other things!!  It also keeps our brains in a fog and keeps us from taking any of the appropriate actions we need to take!!  Our bodies require as much REM sleep (deep sleep) as possible and it takes approximately 3 hours to reach REM, therefore we NEED 6-8 hours of sleep for our bodies to be fully functional!!

I have done live videos on my Facebook page in which I speak on these topics and others.  Follow me on Facebook!! As you can already read these images are not mine and were found on Google Images....but they depict the exact point I was trying to make!!  Thanks Google.....
