The status of relationships
Recently I have been contemplating the status of relationships and how uncertainty can damage the stability and trust within the foundation. I see it all of the time, boyfriends calling girlfriends "bitch" as if it were a nickname. The lack of respect shown between the two people make others wonder are they really "together"? How do you know you are in a committed relationship? How do you know that you are in it together? Many times one person may feel more strongly than the other, and often times this is displayed through the lack of respect that others see. I know when my husband speaks of me he doesn't use the term bitch because we have a mutual understanding and respect for one another. Don't get me wrong in the heart of an argument we have said a thing or two that we've regretted later...but we don't call each other by those names.
