Day in the Life of One Woman

As a busy mom with a lot on my plate, I find it hard to do my daughters long hair in cute ways.  I got tired of the simple ponytail, braid, or bun.  So I went on YouTube and found a channel called Cutegirlhairstyles.  I absolutely love the ideas that Mindy gives.  I have actually accomplished some of them...granted they don't come out exactly like hers but I am practicing anyway!  Here are some of the pics that I have of Mi Linda's hair.  I did try the waterfall braid but I'm still working on that one, it is hard to make it look right.  I have pictures but I just didn't like the way it came out.  Be on the lookout though I have more ideas that I want to try including the Rapunzel braid with flowers, and the Katniss Braid from the movie Hunger Games!!  When I "perfect" those looks I will be posting them!!  Thanks for reading and please feel free to leave a comment!! The time to vote is coming soon, please think carefully about your decision because America's future depends on it!  I just watched the Interview with the President  on Google+ Hangouts and I must say that he is not only  handsome and debonair he is also well composed and answers all questions informatively.  I enjoyed listening to his views on foreign aid, small businesses, education and the cost of higher education, and I especially agree with his views on financial literacy for children.  Please check out the video below, arm yourself with knowledge and empower your choices for our future.     I am still trying to figure out how to work this blog and get it out there for the world to see!!  I am able to post links in my social media pages like Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr.  This is all so new to me and it is so confusing and overwhelming!!  Bear with me though...I know I'll get through this.  My tumblr blog is full of pics of my kids and family, and of all the fashion and makeup I wish I had!!  I also like to include links to interesting webpages such as the one I found today at Sassybella.com .  This website has interesting articles such as the homemade facial scrubs that I know I can afford.  I also love to read fashion mags like InStyle, they give such helpful hints and beauty tips that I wouldn't even have thought of such as: Q: How do I de-sag leather pants?  A:  Lay them flat and hold a hairdryer about 4 inches away from the baggy sections for about a minute or until you see the leather shrink.  Talk ...
